£250 Circus event in Luton
Going to play this one tonight. It is a 2 day jobbie with 15k chips and a 40 min clock with £5k guaranteed for the winner. Luton G had a similar comp on Friday/Sat but sadly only 39 runners.
Wonder how many this comp will get? With the Guarantee they need 50 to break even. Will the guarantee mean an improvement on Luton G's numbers?
We shall see.

Well only 37 runners in the end , but I return for day 2 as chip leader (12 left)with 108k which equates to 1/5th of the total chips in play.
2nd in chips has 75k with only one other just over 50k.
One time!!!!
Wasnt to be :( But at least I have now broken my 3rd in comps, coming 2nd.
I kept my chip lead right upto 4 handed where i lost a few pots to the same person (she went on to win but truely was awful at poker - no offence to her though she is a lovely lady).
She then took out a guy and became huge chip leader (400k ish) with myself and Tikay both on 80k ish and with blinds 4k 8k me and TK got it all in in the blinds. I was SB and shoved with K9 only to find TK with QQ but i hit a K and a 9 to seal the deal.
So onto heads up and I had managed to get to 215k me and 330k her.
Blinds of 5k and 10k she limps on my BB and I have 88 and shove. She insta calls with Q J o/s and rivers the Q. Was almost a £2k swing as first got £3.6k and 2nd getting £1.7K.
Well run comp though it has to be said, great structure and we were all comped with an evening meal on both days.
